Hello to all art lovers,

I've been showing fine art in Los Angeles now for over ten years. The past five have been on Melrose - in the West Hollywood gallery district, and just recently I have moved into a terrific new space along the art corridor of Wilshire Blvd. near L.A. County Art Museum. If you live in L.A. hopefully you've visited the gallery - and if you live outside of LA you may have seen our full page ads in Art in America.

The O'Melveny Gallery tends to show modern, contemporary abstract work. However, I have eclectic tastes, and there are so many great artists but only a limited amount of exhibition space and time. I can't show everyone I'd like to - or deserves to be shown. But I can exhibit these terrific artists on-line through the gallery's website, which is what we are currently doing - expanding our website to allow us the opportunity of showing some truly exceptional talent and have it available to people who love art and follow it keenly.

The art world is a truly "many splendored thing", and with that I hope there will be something for everyone to discover in the new VIRTUAL GALLERY. We will strive to make this a site you will enjoy visiting regularly - to both see whom we are currently exhibiting in the main gallery, and to check the new artists we've added in the VIRTUAL, and the special deals we'll be offering.

One of the great pleasures in running my gallery for the past ten years has been discovering great new talent. I hope one of your joys too will be to make your own great discoveries with some of our artists.

Because after all, for us art lovers - isn't that what it's really all about - the journey of discovery?!!
